About Me

A Little About Me

Hi, I’m Kate. I’m a Registered Nurse, Midwife and holistic practitioner with over 20 years of experience supporting women, babies, children and teens through some of life’s most transformative seasons.

My Journey

My career began in child and adolescent health before later specialising in midwifery, where I dedicated many years to supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and early motherhood. It has been a privilege to walk alongside women and their families, offering compassionate support, and gentle guidance through some of life’s most significant transitions.

While these experiences shaped me professionally, becoming a mother of three transformed my understanding of health and healing in a profoundly personal way. It deepened my appreciation for the ways our life experiences shape us, and reinforced my belief that our emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing are profoundly interconnected.

Today, the philosophy that guides my work is founded on the belief that lasting healing comes from supporting the whole person – body, mind and soul. By honouring every aspect of our wellbeing, I strive to create a space where meaningful and lasting healing can take place.

Training & Qualifications

My Approach

My work is guided by a gentle, integrative approach that works with the nervous system and the body’s innate capacity for healing. Through somatic and holistic therapies, I support clients in processing and releasing what no longer serves them, creating space for greater health and wellbeing.

My approach is grounded, intuitive, and individualised, creating a calm and supportive space where clients can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and feel supported in their healing journey.

Why This Work Matters

When Healing Requires Deeper Questions

Modern medicine treats symptoms, but rarely asks why the body is unwell, why the mind is overwhelmed, or why we’ve become so disconnected from ourselves.

The Impact of Emotional Stress on Wellbeing

These are not surface-level issues. They live within the body. They shape our nervous system, our health, our relationships, and our sense of safety.

Understanding the Mind–Body Connection

The more people I cared for, the more I realised that every symptom has a story. True healing begins when we honour the connection between body, mind and soul.

Why Mind Body Alignment Was Created

That’s why I created
Mind Body Alignment — to offer a supportive space where healing goes beyond the surface, allowing true transformation and lasting change.
